The person behind Prana dog’s love & experience with dogs goes way, way back…

Nicole grew up with up with midwestern roots, living with bird dogs and training, competing with her dogs in 4H competitions and showing horses. Nicole’s love of animals has guided her education, volunteer work, hobbies and career. She has Bachelor’s in Veterinary Science, is a certified veterinary technician, and has a specialty certification in companion animal rehabilitation. Nicole has worked in the veterinary field since 2005 and training since 2006. With over a decade of experience in the veterinary community and training, she offers a holistic approach to the life, care and experience of the dog.

She has studied under some of the best behaviorists and trainers in the country to be able to deliver top notch and creative, attainable training solutions for clients.

In 2009 Nicole founded the Arizona Belgian Malinois Rescue to promote public education about the breed and rehabilitate and find homes for the dogs in need.

Nicole teaches seminars around the country to dog training clubs on engagement and obedience. She has competed and titled dogs in many disciplines of dog sport including Schutzhund, AKC obedience & rally, flyball, dock diving, barn hunt, herding and agility.

In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her son fiance and dogs, Dracarys, Versace & Serqet—competing with the dogs, traveling, hiking and being outdoors.
